ACORN is giving their live response on CSPAN2 now.
Summary of the spin:
Only a couple of cards were any problem, so this whole issue is only political.
Only one person did anything wrong, and that person was fired. Problem solved.

Did any of you listen to Danforth?
He set up McCain for tomorrow night's debate perfectly. He called for the Obama to cooperate with McCain's campaign to monitor battleground precincts for fraud together.
If Obama agrees, he admits there is fraud. If he disagrees, he looks like he is defending fraud.
Either way, the cheaters are on notice that they could face felony charges if caught. Bush's campaign effectively stopped 250,000 Kerry votes in Ohio with that same strategy. The real problem will be getting McCain to pull the trigger and call Obama on it tomorrow night. Can he find some balls?

ACORN issued a Press Release against McCain. Looks like McCain has a history with them too:

I guess we missed it. ACORN is on there now saying how 'full of integrity' they are and any accusations towards them is nothing but a diversion.
Are they insane?
To: Columbo
Darn. I take it I missed it :(

He is speaking SO slowly and in SUCH a monotone that by the time he got around to specifics, everybody’s asleep! SHEESH!

The main media response seems to have been along the theme of “I think you’re making a mountain out of a molehill”...just like the apparent Obama campaign reaction.

They look to be laying the groundwork for legal challenges after the election..if needs be...
ACORN’s purpose is to destroy the people’s faith in the electoral process...period. What else would one expect from a Marxist front? If they can get their candidate in during the process all the better...
Far from boring stuff if you ask me...if you cherish your right to vote for an elected representative...
