The “McCain taxing healthcare” lie was something my pro-Obama son (from California) said to me. The campaign has got to go out there and challenge this.
The problem is that tax issues are very complicated. Personally, I think that if McCain had pitched a Fair Tax proposal, that would have completely changed the race, because people would have been able to understand it.
But with a complicated issue like taxes and tax credits, Obama is allowed to skate on his lies because most people sort of let their eyes glaze over and go for the slogan when confronted with it.
I need verification on this, I have friends who are conservative & they are going to vote Obama because of this lie!!! HELP NOW!
