ok..so explain something: these are fraudulent registrations...not votes.
Someone still has to show up to vote.
Or are they trying to crash the verification system?
They don’t show up to vote. They vote absentee.
Let's say I've figured out how to gin up an extra 10,000 votes for my guy and nobody will be able to detect it.
However, if we have 50,000 registrations and 60,000 votes show up, there's going to be a real stink.
What I need is for some ignorant doufous types to wander around getting me 10,000 more registrations to cover up the fact that I have cheated the voting system.
That's why most of this nonsense is being played out in so-called "battleground" states.
That doesn't mean the players in ACORN are intelligegent ~ someone else may be but they're not.
As a result they are filing fraudulent registration applications in Indiana where they are looking for this stuff from the get-go, and dropping 57,000 of them off in Cleveland ~ and there's that "57 state", "57,000" registration thing ~ "Ladies and gentlemen, let us look at the number 57 .... blah, blah, blah.... it is probative of various things in my Koran. blah, blah, blah.... 57~ think about it tonight. "
Good Lord, these guys are so out of it they think their Messiah is covering up everything for them so that other people just cannot see what's going on.
Reminds me of the Ghost Dance phenomenon ~ the Indians believed a white sheet blessed by their prophet would make them impervious to bullets.
Not necessarily. I heard today that after the polls close and there are unused registrations, the libs vote for them behind closed doors. This came from a Conservative lawyer who called Rush today. Said she had overseen polls during the last Bush election, and witnessed several things like this. She was on the team that fought it, but it does happen.
Once a fraudulent registration is in, someone can vote once for himself and once for a fraudulent registration. On a more onerous note, an employee can use fraudulent registrations to cast extra votes. All they have to do is tick off the fraudulent registration and drop a ballot in the box.
