You’re combining two women
The first was named Dorie Malcolm. From all accounts, JFK married her on a drunken whim. When his dad found out, he hit the roof and had his men break into the County Records office to find and destroy all written records of it.
The second was Inga Arvad, a beautiful Danish journalist. Before PT-109, JFK served in Naval Intelligence in Washington, D.C., and met her when she was assigned there. J. Edgar Hoover suspected she was a Nazi spy, and had his agents follow them around and wiretap them.
JFK’s relationship with Arvad got him reassigned to a PT Boat squadron, and the rest is history
Do you remember the name of the woman that was carrying money from the White House to Giacomo(sp?). For the election that was rigged in Chicago. History repeats?
The pictures I remember seeing of her made Marilyn look almost average.
Actually, her name was Durie, not Dorie Malcolm. This is old news-it surfaced before Kennedy’s election when it was found in an obscure genealogy book written by an elderly Malcolm relative in the 50s. Clark Clifford, Kennedy’s lawyer wrote about it in his autobio. He got it covered up, although he doesn’t say it that way—he says that the old guy who wrote it was “confused”. Yeah right. The passage in the book even mentioned JFK as the son of Ambassador Kennedy.
As far as JFK is concerned-here’s the money stat: 900 military in Nam when he took power in Jan 1961 and 17, 000 in country the day he died in Nov 1963 (Of course his boy LBJ made it 185,000 in 1965 and 550,000 by 1968)
