I’m in western PA, which is supposed to be all Dem all the time. Even friends and some relatives who always vote Dem are not voting for the Messiah. I don’t think I know of anyone who is. Where the hell are they getting these crazy polling numbers?

I have about 100 relatives in Southwestern Michigan — same thing — Dems for life — but no way, no how voting for obie…some said they would stay at home first. And they all have friends and family that cannot vote for him either.

The love the fact that McCain is a Veteran (that makes the 40-80 year old crowd feel good) and they love the fact that Sarah got the NRA’s endorsement and is a lifetime member (that makes the 18-80 year old men and women very happy and proud).

Plus they really, really got pissed off when the whole talking about us one way in Scranton while talking about us another way in San Francisco...they really didn’t appreciate that.

Now they all believe he is a commie, muzzie, socialist, white hater, who wants abortions on demand (paid for by the government) and to take away their guns and rights to be free citizens.

Also the fact the Joe Biden had four deferments from military service and obie never served and they really don’t believe him when he say’s he’s not a muzzie, that really scares them to death.

I live in Pittsburgh. I see more and more “Another Democrat for McCain” yard signs.

Welcome to the Pauline Kael “Circle of Friends Society”.

Who was Ms. Kael, you’re asking?

For many years, she was the film critic of The New Yorker magazine. She is reknown for the comment she made after Nixon won in 1968, to wit: “I can’t understand why he won - I don’t know anybody who voted for him!”
