Request for admissions is an interim pleading used in order to bring forward the issues to be contested at trial.

For those items not admitted, there is usually a subsequent pleading filed called " Joinder of Issue" which delineates the facts that are to be in issue at trial.

In this case, it seems that the request for admissions not being answered, that they have been deemed admitted.

This could allow Berger to file a motion for Declaratory Judgement in the case, and to seek enforcement of that judgement.

Why can’t the judge simply demand to see a dam birth certificate? Seriously, show it or go home.
