I’ve wondered that myself why somene hasn’t brought this issue up especially to the anti war folks who are so for him? Obama will draft them you’ll have no choice.
Obama has given every sign of having aspirations of a socialist, totalitarian administration. When have we ever seen one of his ilk not wield military/police power to meet their own ends?

Well I wouldn’t be surprised if our troops decided on another profession and left the military if Obama wins.
Essentially, they're expecting a new war to break out in early 2009, and want to re-institute the draft, which would require new legislation. Personally, I don't think that Pelosi and Reid have the stones to carry through with it, once the immediate howls of public outrage reached their tender ears.
Moreover, even IF Obama tried to re-implement the draft, the U.S. Armed Forces do not currently have the physical infrastructure nor the qualified trainers necessary to handle a sudden influx of thousands of conscripts, courtesy of BRAC and the 1990s RiFs. It would be a first class debacle that would ensure a swift end to an all Rat Congress and a single-term for Obama.

He’ll have to re-institute the draft. Nobody will volunteer to serve and alot of current service men and women will bail.
Obama reminds me of Wilson, but with an added touch of using draftees for "social action" rather than traditional military service. Oh yes, Obama will have his very own military dedicated to Hope and Change.
Part of their social action will be a disarming of America.
As soon as I here of a draft announcement ( no legislation needed, only an executive order?)I will get some water proof containers and cosmoline. I have a nice easy digging site all picked out.

agree. The republicans feel they always have to reconcile their actions to a “standard”...be straight forward to build “trust”...however this is a dirty game and they get rolled like Pollyannas to often....
