Wonder how much of the college vote Obama would lose if they knew he wants to draft them, male and female.
He may re-institute the draft but will defer every black fatherless kid. They will bring in white 2-parent family kids only!
Well I wouldn’t be surprised if our troops decided on another profession and left the military if Obama wins.
Essentially, they're expecting a new war to break out in early 2009, and want to re-institute the draft, which would require new legislation. Personally, I don't think that Pelosi and Reid have the stones to carry through with it, once the immediate howls of public outrage reached their tender ears.
Moreover, even IF Obama tried to re-implement the draft, the U.S. Armed Forces do not currently have the physical infrastructure nor the qualified trainers necessary to handle a sudden influx of thousands of conscripts, courtesy of BRAC and the 1990s RiFs. It would be a first class debacle that would ensure a swift end to an all Rat Congress and a single-term for Obama.

He’ll have to re-institute the draft. Nobody will volunteer to serve and alot of current service men and women will bail.
Obama reminds me of Wilson, but with an added touch of using draftees for "social action" rather than traditional military service. Oh yes, Obama will have his very own military dedicated to Hope and Change.
Part of their social action will be a disarming of America.

I have strong doubts about this. Hillary is playing both sides against the middle hoping the Obamessiah will lose and give her another shot in ‘12.

Whoever figured this out is pretty damn smart , if you ask me. If you look at some of the other statements posted here you don’t have to do much reading between the lines to see that is exactly what this ass is planning to do.

Think it through. A draft serves Obama in several ways. He cleans out the military of right thinkers. He extends his radical views, government control and influence beyond 12th grade minds. It enables him to further the social engineering he has in mind. It allows him a fighting force to change the landscape and influence in Africa.
One has to wonder what just is this boy’s end game?

Great. A draft would mean we’ll never defend ourselves again, at least not until we’re fighting right here, which I guess would be the only acceptable use for our military in the eyes of liberals.
Can a president impose the draft or does the Congress have to vote it in?
if they were dumb enough to vote for Obama then they will probably enjoy it, for a little while.
