Itr scares me too because it harkens me back to when Michelle Obama said at UCLA 02/19/2008:
In a Hitler-like speech given at UCLA on February 19, Michelle Obama made these statements:
Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.
You have to stay at the seat at the table of democracy with a man like Barack Obama not just on Tuesday but in a year from now, in four years from now, in eights years from now, you will have to be engaged.
Michelle’s words sound like a despot
No invidual choice. “Barack” will DEMAND that you engage...you will NEVER be “allowed” to go back to your life as usual.

I have been thinking about that speech too. Michelle just rephrases "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." She leaves off the "or else," as did Marx.
Of course, Obama doesn't see it that way.
In 2004 the Democrats were trying to scare young voters into voting against Bush by fabricating the story that Bush would revive the draft. In fact, the peace-time draft was first imposed by a Democrat President and was finally dropped by a Republican (Nixon). Jimmy Carter is the one who revived registration for the draft. I think it was in reaction to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
