Someone please tell me how Mac is leadingt 74%-22% among the 18-24 age group. Much as I welcome this, it’s not making sense.

I agree it is a little suprising. That said, in my social circle are some responsible, conservative, 18-22 yr olds who have been chomping at the bit to vote for the first time...and they are all voting for McCain/Palin.

It's not McCain. It's Palin.
Maybe they have figured out what many others have started to weave together.. Obama wants to bring mandatory service for everyone in the form of draft...
There could be a big backlash among college students. My son is pro McCain, but avoids talking about it at school to keep the faculty’s good opinion. He thought he was almost the only one for awhile, now he’s figuring out the quiet ones are mostly for McCain. And most of the students are quiet.
I have another kid who is pro-Obama and wears it on her T-Shirt. I have 4 kids in their 20’s, and Obama-girl is the one that didn’t register-—OOOOPS (OK, OK, I admit that I forgot, on purpose, to remind her!).
