I’d like to see where they poll as well

I wouldn't be surprised to find out they don't really poll at all. If you're going to fudge the numbers anyway, why bother?

These lies camouflaged as polls from the media need to be incentive to work even harder getting the message to voters to actually vote on the 4th.

Spreading the truth about these media lies needs to be mission number one.
Make sure everyone you know gets to the poling place and votes.

Expose the lie to all you know.

I disagree with that. And if they do tend to be embarrassed Dems, then they won’t go for the most far left Dem of them all. Makes no sense.

There are also a lot of moderates and conservatives who don’t want to be bothered. They just want to vote and not be continuously called during the political season at dinner time.

Okay maybe I’m wrong, but my most important point is that they over sample Dems and that’s drives me nuts...but I’m used to it now...

According to Rasmussen’s internals for the prior week, 0 and McCain each have identical 87% support from their own parties, and almost exactly split with independents. The only reason for the 0 lead is the weighted party advantage.

To all

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the GOP was the “3rd party” in Mass with the Independents being the “2nd party”.

Mass GOP’ers do those political demographics look right?

I wonder what this poll would say at 1996’s 39-35 turnout.

Based on the poll, and contrary to usual election history, it has the Democrats being ever slightly more Democratic than Republicans being Republican. But the difference is too small to matter. So, at a 39-35 split, Obama's lead would shrink to about seven points. If you want to make the Independents more realistically independent, subtract another 3 points and that gets you to 4 points overall.

Of course, I should add that in 2000, Dems had a 39-35 turnout advantage, but this was good for all of a 0.5% win for Gore in the national popular vote. And in 2004, only 89 percent of Democrats voted for Kerry (89-11) while 93% of Republicans voted for Bush (93-6).
