Her Name Is Governor Palin

Wednesday, October 29, 2008

By Howard Galganov

Why are they called Senators Obama, Biden and McCain, while she is called just Sarah, or just Sarah Palin?

Why isn’t she called Governor Palin or just Governor?

Not to refer to her by her proper title is not just insulting and demeaning, it is also horribly dishonest. Even past governors such as Huckabee and Romney are still referred to as Mr Governor when spoken to or introduced.

Rudy Giuliani is still called Mr Mayor. And he hasn’t been the Mayor of New York for almost 2 terms.

When the ‘BOYS’ speak and debate about their experience to run the USA, not one of them can hold an administrative candle next to Governor Palin, since not one of them has ever really administered anything.

When they speak about the ‘experience’ that gives them approbation to sit in the White House, what experience are they talking about?

Not one of them has any experience that qualifies them for the office of the President of the USA.

The ONLY person to have real Presidential experience is the person who has already been in that office.

So what does it really come down to in terms of choosing a US President?

It comes down to real experience, character and the ability to lead. McCain has two and a half out of three. Biden and Obama have zero out of three combined.

Governor Sarah Palin has a strong two out of three. As a matter of fact, based upon a REAL track record and experience, the Governor is far more qualified to be the President of the USA than Obama and Biden combined.

Just about the entire mainstream media, with the exclusion of FOX News has swamped the Governor’s home State of Alaska trying to find any dirt they could on her, and came away with nothing.

They delved into her personal and family life and once again came away with nothing.

But what none of them did was focus on her Gubernatorial style and success. They never asked why a rookie Governor in her second year of a four-year term has an approval rating of 85%.

They never asked how the Governor was able to balance the books, reduce taxes and return a substantial amount of money to her taxpayers. Or how she managed to clean up so much political corruption.

They never delved into the deal she brokered that made it possible for the oil and gas companies to pony-up $40 BILLION to create a gas pipeline that will feed the energy thirsty lower 48.

WHY NOT?

The media has had a field day with her $150,000 wardrobe. So what? What’s the big deal? I for one liked the way she looked. How much her Party spent to dress her up to make her look good is not an issue.

Maybe the media scrags are just jealous of her sensational good looks?

How many questions have ever been asked about Nancy Pelosi’s wardrobe? Or the wardrobe costs of Hillary Clinton to hide her big ass?

But why stop there?

Obama’s clothes don't look like they’ve come off the racks of Wal-Mart. And neither do the clothes of Biden or McCain.

So what’s with this sexist elitist crap the media has with Governor Palin?

Governor Sarah Palin is the ONLY bright spot in this entire campaign, especially if you’re a Republican.

In Governor Sarah Palin there really is a breath of fresh air. Here is a person who is absolutely capable of doing anything the BIG BOYS can do and more, since not one of them has ever had to do what she’s done as an Executive Administrator.

And now that she has the taste for Presidential Politics, and has shown that she can stand-up to the very worst a horribly biased, unfair and vicious press can throw at her, she has been fully vetted for 2012.

If Senator McCain wins and Governor Palin becomes the country’s first woman Vice President, she will shine, and eventually she will be catapulted to the Oval Office.

But, if Obama wins, as is more likely than not, in four years time, the people of America will be begging for Governor Sarah Palin to undo the mess Obama will make of the world’s greatest country.

Her name is Governor Palin. In four years time it very well might be President Palin.

I don’t support many of her social issues, which include her anti CHOICE and anti-GAY rights policies, but I can live with them knowing that the majority of the people of the USA will never step back to the way it used to be.

As for her other policies on the economy, world affairs, a clean lean government and the RIGHTS of the INDIVIDUAL, Governor Palin would look real good behind that big desk in the Oval Office.

Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov

“The only time it would be proper to use Mrs. Palin (I have even seen ‘Ms. Palin’) would be in the context of her marriage to Todd Palin; as in ‘Mr. and Mrs. Palin invited us into their home where Governor Palin discussed policy issues while Todd talked about snowmachine racing.’”

I don’t think so. In that case, the proper address would be, “Governor and Mr. Palin invited us into their home where Governor Palin discussed policy issues while Todd talked about snowmachine racing.”

"Not to refer to her by her proper title is not just insulting and demeaning, it is also horribly dishonest"

I haven't heard the MSM call President Bush "President" many times at all in the past eight years. I'm sure it is part of their "program-the-sheeple" efforts to rob him of any due respect and destroy him and the Republicans...which apparently have been pretty successful, especially with so much help from Rhino Republicans.

If McCain/Palin win this, we can expect four years more of this, too.

Couric orders staff not to call Sarah Palin Governor

Something to think about. Right now people are fed up with Washington DC. They are fed up with these politicians who spend their entire careers there, ride the gravy train, and then every 4 years or so run for the presidency. There's only one candidate in this race who currently does not work inside the beltway. There's one candidate who draws large, enthusiastic crowds wherever she goes. There's one candidate who knows the middle class because she is middle class. Yeah, Americans are concerned about their future, but they are angry about this nation's leadership. And it's not just anger at Bush. Just take a look at Congress' approval rating. I think the pollsters, the pundits, and the rest of the liberal media-Democrat clusterf*** are missing this. While Sen. McCain represents stability in the presidency, Gov. Palin represents the anger middle America has for the status quo in DC. In addition, Gov. Palin represents the ambitions of middle class women who work and raise families too. Think a number of them haven't been paying attention while the media dumped on them? Why'd so many such women support Sen. Clinton and are cool to Sen. Obama? Obama-Biden represent the status quo - more spending, more disdain for middle America. Obama-Biden represent the polygamous gay marriage between the media, the Democrat party, and the entertainment industry.

This may just be the first presidential ever in which the VP candidate won the race for a ticket.

Not hard to figure out.
People who like her already, and have from the beginning
like her for a whole set of reasons which have to do with
her realness, her accessibility, and the sense of familiarity she projects.effortlessly
, so there would be no reason ever to refer to her as anything but Sarah Palin or Sarah.
The people who are SUPPOSED to show her respect but who can’t bring themselves to, will wiggle and wriggle around
the courtesy of referring to her as Governor Palin. She is NOT supposed to have a title at all, and certainly not that one. I have met people as recently as a few weeks ago who still were under the impression she was never more than the Mayor of a small Alaska town , Wassilla. That’s how well the MSM does its “job”.

The other day my sis asked if I saw “Our Sarah” on TV. At first I thought she was referring to her daughter. We discussed the issue and came to the conclusion that Governor is so much like us, she could be a member of any of our families, that she truly IS loved and belongs to the people.

In person I would probably refer to her as “Governor”, but in my heart she would always be Sarah.

(One of my favorite activities growing up was spending time with “Charwie”. It wasn't until I was grown that I realized my friend was, Hon. Charles Halleck, Senator...He'll always be loved .

I agree that your version is more appropriate, but my point was that the ONLY context in which the use of “Mrs. Palin” would be acceptable would be in direct relation to her being Mr. Todd Palin’s wife.

There are thousands of Sarahs, there is only one Governor Palin. You do her a great disservice.

I understand what you're saying, and I respect your intentions.

But I see it the opposite. There are a lot of governors. There is only one Sarah.

cheers

Something to consider regarding the wardrobe.

Neither Obama, nor his wife needed fancy clothes. They had plenty.

As did Joe Biden and his spouse.

As did John McCain and his.

Sarah Palin did not have a closet full of fancy clothes any more than the average citizen does.

Nor did her spouse.

I'd bet even money that the most expensive item of clothing Todd Palin owned was either a pair of boots or his snow machine racing suit.

I am in complete agreement.

Until circumstances dictate otherwise, she is Governor Palin and should be referred to as such.

Anything less is disrespectful whether it is intended or not.

Why does Obama call John McCain, just “John” in the debates, instead of Senator McCain?

It's an obvious, calculated sign of disrespect in my opinion.

People who refer to Governor Palin as "Sarah" are using it as a term of endearment. Just as many of us referred to President Reagan as "Ronnie."

Hey, we refer to The Hildabeast as "Hillary" (sometimes) or simply "The Beast." LOL

Series, this is not that hugh a deal, and I wouldn't loose any sleep over it.

Howard considers himself a conservative with libertarian leanings, thus his stance on social issues.

It took me weeks to convince him he was a conservative, when he called himself a "liberal". He finally came around. He was seduced by the flattery of calling oneself a liberal. I soon disabused him of that.

Gov. Palin scares the pants off Liberals, so they seize any possible way to demean and belittle her. Nobody’s fooled by this, and everyone I’ve talked to, except my idiot Italian/American friend who wants (Obama), someone else to pay her health insurance so she can spend her money flying around the world, skiing, etc. — every single person is voting McCain and terrified of Obama. And this is MA.
