That’s a fact. It has become a meaningless term.
Well, that’s the left’s position, and they’re sticking to it.
Seeing that the academic left has redefined racism in a twisted way so that all whites and only whites are racists, if uttered by an academic ‘only racism can stop Obama’ translates into ordinary English as ‘only white people voting can stop Obama’.
Of course since normal people without Ph.D.s (and some of us with) still use ‘racist’ to denote someone who believes people should be maltreated on the basis of their skin-color or ancestry, the left has to trot out bizarre talking points to support their assertions:
Calling Obama a socialist is ‘racist’.
Pointing out his associations with William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn (two Caucasians of European ancestry) and Rashan Khalidi (a Semite) is ‘racist’.
It is not too much of a parody to suggest the pointing out that one can’t give 95% of working families a tax cut because much more than 5% of working families (I’ve seen estimates of 30%, 40% and 44%) have no tax liability under the current system) will be deemed ‘racist’ by next Tuesday.

Man, they better stock up the liquor stores in her town after Obama loses!
All of these people that go on record and claim this, need to be accountable for inciting if something happens after the election.

How do you lose this election when you’ve got every press organization in the inner solar system covering for you and giving you free non-stop propaganda, you’ve got professional election fraud specialists under contract, 600 million dollars from no-one-wants-to-know-where to spend on who knows what since you get your campaign propaganda free, and 8,000 lawyers on retainer ready to go just as soon as your poll-watchers tell you you’re not going to win, because you’re going to win this one nice or you’re going to win this one not-nice, whatever it takes...
And what if after all that you still lose? What if you had an iron-clad lock on the election and you still lost?
She’s trying to distract from the reality that she and other Obama supporters have sold their soul. Ms. Estrich: explain to me why you support a candidate who sat through 20 years of Jeremiah Wright sermons; why you back a candidate who was part of a church that gave Louis Farrakhan a ‘lifetime achievement award’??
Oh, it’s completely broken alright. Kinda like the “F” bomb. When you hear it day in and day out, it really has no meaning or impact anymore.
