Just three days until the presidential election and Barack Obama may have a fresh dustup to deal with.
Late Friday night the Associated Press citing “two separate sources, one of them a federal law enforcement official” reported that Obama’s aunt, a Kenyan woman named Zeituni Onyango, who has been living in public housing in Boston, is in the U.S. illegally after a judge turned down her request for asylum for years ago.
Obama and “Aunti Zeituni,” as he refers to her in his memoirs, don’t appear to be close. He doesn’t discuss the 56-year-old woman who is his half aunt on his father’s side at events or on the campaign trail as an influence on his life.
Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton says “Senator Obama has no knowledge of her status but obviously believes that any and all appropriate laws be followed.”

According to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey, twenty-eight percent (28%) express anger about immigration. 74% continue to believe the government is not doing enough to secure the nation’s borders. Just 12% think enough is being done.

Forty percent (40%) of likely McCain voters are angry about the current immigration situation. Among those who plan to vote for Obama, just 14% share the anger.
Eighty-three percent (83%) of those who plan to vote for McCain say gaining control of the border is more important than legalizing the status of undocumented workers. Likely Obama voters are evenly divided on the importance of the two.

What is odd to me is that a Senator couldn’t just get that fixed with a phone call at the time.
Of course, wouldn’t Obama have a million relatives given his father’s....activities?

Obama believe that he IS the law. Its not a good sign when they aren’t even elected yet and already sound like Charles II or Ivan the Terrible.
Deport Obama and his aunt. Kenya, Indonesia, Pakistan. Don’t care where they go as long as its somewhere else.

‘That ONE’ is too careful about leaving a paper trail like that. He won’t even stand by his own votes much less his relatives. YOU are their keeper, and YOU are cheap. He said so.
Do BO or any of his half relations have ANY full relations? I guess somewhere in the family tree there has to be a full branch, doesn’t there? Or did the DNC and the Socialists make him out of spare parts?

You may be on to something. Last night CBS tore his economic policy to pieces. They trashed McCains too, but they really got on Barry’s.
What concerns me is the 1/3 of the voters who have already voted...and the likes of ACORN.
Yep, the media has been taking polls of their own regarding perception of bias. They know they have to seriously start operation CYA. Comes at a good time.

Not only should you be voting early if you can but get out there on election day and get others out FOR McCain
That’s what I was thinking. How can you have a half aunt? For your aunt to be related to you on both sides of your family you’d have to be a Muslim. Oh, never mind.
you can bet that she was also registered to vote in Boston. I bet she had already done it by absentee ballot.
