St. Olaf is affiliated with the ELCA, the more liberal branch of Lutheranism in the US (as opposed to the Missouri Synod, which is pretty conservative). It's not inexpensive, but it is a relative bargain: about $8-10,000 per year less than East or West coast private liberal arts colleges in it's class (US News top 50 liberal arts colleges) and still need blind admissions. One of my daughters is a fairly recent graduate; she really liked St. Olaf.
I checked on the website, this guy is a Theater Instructor, pretty junior non-tenure track faculty; probably a 1 year appointment. I have written to the President of the college - no more money until this guy is gone.
