As a group, American Jews are booksmart. They lack common sense about voting because, among other things, they are blinded by their paranois about the religious right (which supports them more strongly than almost anyone else.)
I know because I am one of them. Of course, I did manage to come to my senses.

Sad, but true. The most abortion dedicated politicos come fromm the Northeast, a region with a heavy Catholic presence, especially Irish Catholic (to my shame as I am Irish and Catholic). If the Catholics there would vote in accord with the Church’s moral teachings it would turn this country around (and rid us of the likes of Ted Kennedy).
I am not Jewish, but I grew up in a Jewish neighborhood. Generally they are very smart, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be conned. Having a high IQ is no defense against a clever, charismatic con artist.

More than a majority, an overwhelming majority, from what I hear. They understand what it means to live in a leftist dictatorship better than most Americans, and they don't want their adopted country overrun with the same disasters as their old one.
The other major Jewish subgroup who will vote overwhelmingly for McCain are the Orthodox.
We go through this every time: This is not an intelligence test. A substantial majority of Jews are liberals (OK, OK, maybe that makes them dumb). Liberalism is a mental disorder. Ergo, lots of Jews suffer from a mental disorder which includes zombie like allegiance to any democrat. If Hitler was resurrected and running for the president on the democrat ticket, the same Jews would vote for Hitler.
To illustrate the total lack of depth of thinking on the part of liberals - Jewish or not - I was told by a female teacher that John McCain is not a war hero because he crashed three airplanes, and that Palin only had two years of executive experience.
The fact that McCain passed on an opportunity to leave the POW camp early because of (1) the effect that would’ve had on his fellow prisoners and (2) the propaganda coup it would’ve given the enemy, plus the fact that Palin’s executive experience, however short, was more than any of all the other candidates on either side meant nothing at all to this woman. She still wants “change we can believe in.”
Maybe the same blinders that keep many from coming to Christ serve to blind them in politics too, especially when it comes to recognizing evil.
That's a strange thing to say, considering that the TaNa"KH is far, far to the right of the "new testament." It's no accident that liberals love to quote the beatitudes.
If you have never in your life considered investigating the idea that maybe Judaism is true and chr*stianity is just another false religion, then you are every bit as blind and narrow-minded as any Jew is.
I used to be a chr*stian, you know.
