Hey, I know a lady who even said that Biden’s statement that there'd be no new coal plants in America (”not here” his exact words) was not as it seemed. He was talking about China, she said.

The Coal Workers Union is nothing more than a political arm of the DNC.
They care nothing at all about the coal workers they represent, or the industry.
They just collect mandatory dues and act as a Howard Dean mouthpiece.

This is typical of union thug behavior. The unions do not put their members’ true interests first.

They’re working off a deficiency in the Rush/Drudge driven reporting of the tape—which looks at invective about coal companies, instead of Obama’s comments about how everyone’s rates will go up.
Everyone. They are words served on a silver platter. Yet the media types narrow their focus to coal industry “everyone” is not connected to, and ephemeral apologies for plutocrats, capitalism—as if Cap and Trade isn’t “capitalism.”
The Miners’ union is also trying to work in a clean coal argument which is exactly NOT what Obama was talking about. He was talking about Cap and Trade.

I think the most important quote from that interview applies to everyone...not just coal miners:
“Under my plan, energy prices would necessarily skyrocket.”

Yep, it feels like the Twilight Zone. Their latest twisting of the truth...
The MSM fails to inform America of the truth about the worst candidate ever, and when McPalin speaks up it is twisting the truth. Sheeesh.

So what we have to do then is figure out how can we use coal without emitting greenhouse gases and carbon. And how can we sequester that carbon and capture it.This guy is truly an idiot.
Of course, if you want to sequester the carbon, you leave the coal in the ground. But that was his intent anyway, never mind the electricity that will not be generated.

No. Unions love Democrats. But the damage has already been done. The horse is out of the barn...

My dad was a coal miner for 40 years and he was totally disgusted with the union. The UMWA would cut of it’s nose to spite it’s face. The would go on strike for the dumbest things. Probably the worst thing he told me was that they went on strike because there was no soap in the showers.
He hated the union, but you had to tow the line if you wanted to work. This was back in the 50’s and 60’s. It appears that not much has changed.

Party before union or union members and especially before America to Obama supporters. That should be dealt with severely by their members who are about to really get hurt again!

"So what we have to do then is figure out how can we use coal without emitting greenhouse gases and carbon. And how can we sequester that carbon and capture it."Oh, that's all they need to do. Problem solved then...whenever they figure it out. Until then, the plan is still to bankrupt the industry.
