We're Gen-Xers, too, middle-class, etc. We took our young daughter trick-or-treating last week and stopped in at a neighbor's house for a chat. Got talking about the economy and election. We didn't know each other's political views, but came to find out we're all Repubs. They said they thought we might be Dems because we're "young." We told them we thought they might be Dems because they're boomers. Had a good laugh about that. Go McCain/Palin!

Especially youngsters. I had to stand in line for an hour. It sucked. They better stay home and study.

Don't you just love it when you’re “Welcomed to Free Republic” or your grammar, paragraphs, spelling, or the fact that someone may have posted the same thought two hours earlier are the first responses to a point that seems important to you?

I thought one of the missions of Free Republic is to provide a forum where one can espouse their conservative opinions without fear of ridicule from the left. However, it never fails that some lurking curmudgeon attacks a poster for failing to dot his/her "i's" or cross his/her "t's" which makes me wonder about the curmudgeon's real intent.

I think there are posters here that have been lurking since the Monica Lewinsky/Impeachment debacle of the failed Clinton Administration, whose only purpose is to suppress Free Republic as an outlet for the conservative ideas of the common man.

“He looked like a Brooklyn break dancer or a whirling dervish he was spinning so fast!!”

Not to be too judgemental, but uh, he is too fat to spin very fast.”

Well, with those stats behind you and you’re still voting McCain, I have only one thing to say. There IS a God!

Think about posting this video on your FACEBOOK. Maybe pass it along to your friends to do the same. The youth vote may be a factor in this election for the first time.

One more day.

I agree. I enjoyed the article and there are more prissy pants on FR than there are vanity posts.

(but there are too many of those ... can’t argue that)

A Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll gave McCain a 49-45 lead over Democrat Barack Obama among Floridians who have already voted.

And Republicans continued to show a traditional strength, leading 50 percent to the Democrats’ 30 percent in the 1.2 million absentee ballots already returned.

I was just watching FOX and they are saying how much Obama’s group want to talk about NC and how GREAT they are doing here. Only Rick Davis seems to have done his homework. There are plenty of registered Dems that vote GOP for president. I don’t expect it to be different this time. Just look at the 48-47 number DESPITE ALL those Dems voting. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm....
