Morris: Polls are junk -- voters for this election are unknown
Fox News Live | 11/3/08

Posted on 11/03/2008 7:35:02 PM PST by pabianice

Dick Morris on Fox. He maintains that no one knows how this election will go because the make-up of the voting public this year is uncharted. Claims the polls are either willfully slanted towards Obama or just clueless. It's an interesting argument. He reiterated that the polling models being used are obsolete.

Meanwhile, the Fox people were saying it's over for McCain. They can't both be right.

I wonder if the MSM will apologize when the riots start on Wednesday?

They might start Tuesday night in Chicago. We're stocked up on popcorn.

They are junk. The media/pollsters assume that Democratic turnout will be 10% higher than in 2004 based on OBAMA existing alone. But they refuse to factor in the Palin impact and the PUMA impact. Plus, they had been saying months ago that Obama would lose 5-10% on election day do to racism... and they don’t factor that in if they believe it to be true.

But the media has been playing CYA all along by talking up the silly “Bradley Effect” so they can claim to not be at blame for their faulty wishful thinking...

I continue to wonder why ANYONE listens to Dick Morris.

I also have a good supply of ammo.

I'm LOL but I fear that may be true. One thing is certain. When McCain wins the dems will be completely out of their minds.

I tend to agree, but the Fox morning show today was really pro-McCain. I was thrilled........ I think I’d rather watch them than the “All-Stars”......

I suddenly have new found respect for Dick Morris. He's calling it on the FOX NEWS boys.

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus

I for one would look forward to the McCain victory riots. There’s no faster way to clean up a blighted neighborhood than by burning it down.

Assume for now that the polls are very, very wrong. Because of these polls, the expectations of a certain ethnic minority have been falsely inflated. The explosive formula for serious civil unrest has been mixed and it sits on the stove simmering.

I'm not concerned. Phoenix isn't an urban rioting kind of town, and besides that we live miles from Phoenix.

I agree. When Morris is not employed by a candidate and is speaking about an election as an observer, he comes across as very smart and neutral.

Don’t forget that Morris was essentially Bubba’s Karl Rove and got Clinton elected twice.

Something no Democrat president has done since Roosevelt.

Like him or hate him, there are pearls of wisdom in a lot of what he has to say.

I trust what Morris and Gingrich have to say, they’re both usually right. I wish I could fast-forward to some time in the future where I could look back to today and think; why was I so worried?? Not just about Obama winning; but how did we ever get here in the first place? Someone so unqualified and so sinister? With every day some new troubling fact coming to light that is so totally dismissed by the major liberal media? It almost seems like Obama’s strategy was just to overload us all so we would just go numb and tune it all out. Last but not least, the brain-dead drones who follow him, and are so eager to harrass those of us who don’t; and who have such visceral contempt for the real “middle class” like Joe and Sarah? If McCain wins, what can we do to turn the nightmare around so that 4 years from now we’re not again on the brink of disaster?

A combination of three things never seen before in a Presidential election make all previous models obsolete:

Palin
PUMA
Bradley Effect
