Remember, this time last election cycle Bush aides were worrying already about peeks at exit polls. We heard how great Kerry was doing before the exit polls even started being leaked. This time: I haven’t heard a word. What does that mean? Either the media has decided to play fair (what are the odds?) or their certain these results just can’t POSSIBLY be right.

Maybe they aren’t getting the partisan mix they need for accurate polling, as well. This year, more even than last time, I think 75% of their respondants will be democrats, and that would invalidate their entire survey (not that they would admit it).

I worry Obama will win... But I have that faint, faint hope, backed up by many conversations I’ve had with democrats and independents, that McCain might just pull this out.

Especially after the Black Panther thing... How many people in line, intending to vote for Obama, changed their minds when they saw the shape of things to come?

Isn’t there still over an hour to go before the exit polls are released?

Live threads are required to be started early enough so that they scroll off the bottom of the page before the event starts, thus other people can start up more live threads which the mods can then lock and redirect to the original thread. If the mods aren't kept busy they start playing with the wires on the back of the servers.

You are right. Sorry, I’m in Singapore, it’s four fifty in the morning (Wed)- I’ve been up all night and completely forgot about fall back.

Usually we are twelve hours ahead of eastern time, now we are thirteen!

That must be pretty predictable. Just like always with Liberals, as much media manipulation as possible will be in place. Nothing new at all here. I'll just ignore it as I have ignored the MSM for the past 4 months.

The exit polls are likely to be way off. There'll be plenty of people who'll be reluctant to tell a pollster that they just voted for McCain.

....polls are merely a liberal tool used by the MSM to either suppress the Republican vote OR used as an explanation to bolstered their argument that there must be a reason they lost...(but but but the polls indicated, it must have been stolen!......2004 and the liberal mantra ever since)

Sounds about right to me Karl, lol.

They'll show Obambi way up. My guess is it will be much, much closer than what they predict though. I just pray through some miracle we are able to pull it off.

I predict they will be both fake and inaccurate, though Dan Rather might describe them as “tighter than Hillary’s thong”.

Timed to coincide with workers (i.e., Republicans) leaving work and preparing to vote; welfare anumals have already voted (probably more than once). Polls will show an O'Bongo landslide.

Demoralized Republican voters, hearing the exit poll news and perhaps seeing O'Bongo's billy-clubbed "Security Police" and long lines at their polling place - long lines of Democrats, they must assume - are expected to skip voting and head home, or to the local bar or to the local guns & ammo store (good idea, but vote first).

The only other option is to not believe the traitorous media fabrications and VOTE ANYWAY. It may the last time you get to do so.

I think exit polls should be outlawed. It lets the Dems know how many more voters they need to bus to the polls to win, excuse me, cheat.
