Drudge is freaking me out! The same exact thing happened last time with Kerry. I gotta calm down. My 22 year old daughter said “mom, stop...if Obama wins we’ll just deal with it.” God, I hope so.

I got three “Did you vote yet?” and one “Do you need a ride to the polls?” calls in the past hour!

You bet Pennsylvanians are still voting—and still calling all their friends to get out and vote.

and if I recall Pennsylvania was too close to call on election day, which gave Dems fits. I believe Kerry’s victory was actually 50-48, a mere 2 pts.

He does this every election cycle.
It keeps his hits high, which is the goal.

I just got a “get out and vote” robocall from Rudi Giuliani at 6 PM, which tells me PA is close, close, close!

The problem is even in spite of Kerry being up - Kerry won PA
So unless this is complete bs from Drudge then we’ll have to chalk this state over. However remember people, being realistic, we should have known PA would lean Obozo. It’s VA, FL and OH that are key ones - we take all three then it’s Maverick. If we don’t then it’s Obozo’s rod up our behinds. So stop f’ing freaking out over PA and get on the horn for VA, OH and FL.

The reason you haven’t seen any exit polls earlier is because they are so off the mark, the poll and the outlets know it. They have hesitated releasing them. This much is obvious.

Ignore PA exit polling.
When I voted today in a Red area of a Red county...it took 1hurs 20 minutes. Took me 15 minutes in 2004. My area of PA went heavy for Bush. I was also for the first time in my life asked if I minded being polled. I am sorry, but I lied. Told them I was a life long Republican (true) voting for Change with Obama (false) I feel guilty lying, but enjoy messing up their polling.

lv61 - think back to the last election. Susan Estrich freaking out on Fox after Bush won because she was banking on the exit polls! LOL!!
I’m not paying any attention to the exit polls. Apparently Drudge has gotten sucked in just like Estrich did.

I’m not going to panic. Yet.

:-)

Absolute nonsense. In places where people actually have jobs, many do not vote until after supper (the law in PA is if you're in line, you get to vote.)

I just came back from the firehall of a very red suburb of State College, PA, and turnout was the heaviest I've ever seen. I normally have to wait no more than 10-15 minutes and my wife and I were in line over 40 minutes.

There were two exit pollsters there, and no more than one person in about 50 was willing to take their poll: people want to get back home to their kids or whatever after a long day. These numbers mean NOTHING. Wherever you are GO AND VOTE. Remember that we could've won Florida in 2000 by tens of thousands of votes if people in the CST panhandle hadn't foolishly believed the early calls for Gore in Forida from the Eastern Time Zone.

Vote.

Dunno how much I trust exit polls; too many variables.

Like only Dimms participate in them? ;^D
