AMC is televising tonight’s big fight between Obama and McCain. It’s titled “Rocky”............This is the only voting coverage I’m watching.........
Two nights ago TNT aired “Independence Day”. Coincidence? I don’t know, I prefer to view it as a positive omen for McCain.......”

*************************

This weekend for the election I decided to watch
Faith of My Fathers - John McCain’s story
and I also watched The Omen........

I believe the Florida panhandle is in the Central Time Zone, so those polls are open an hour later.

They tried to call FLA for Gore early on election night, 2000 to discourage Republican voters still in line. The networks are going to pull out all the stops tonight to try to push Barry over the top.

Thanks, everyone, for your help. WATCHING FOX, READING FR, and LISTENING to Hugh. Simply cannot listen to the teevee.

Yup...old Shep Smith leaves no doubt as to he voted for. Oh well, I suppose "fair and balanced" means you also have to hire a gay newscaster.

Guys, its not gonna happen.

McCain is not up nearly enough in Indiana.

Early returns in Virginia and Florida are not big enough,

Early returns from the North Carolina State Board of Elections website:

Obama/Biden (DEM)
57.28% 571,417
McCain/Palin (REP)
42.01% 419,069
Barr/Root (LIB)
0.44% 4,395
WRITE-IN
0.26% 2,625

Obviously these are early voting. Only two small counties are partially reported as of yet.

BTW, in early voting, Kay Hagen is crushing Liddy Dole 58-39.

The BBC is awful. They actually had a minor scandal a few years back when an internal self-audit found a distinct leftwing bias in their coverage.

But if things go well they tonight they might provide some tasty shadenfreude.

Saint Louis County is Republican. Saint Louis City is Democrat. So an 85% turnout for the county is good news.
