I think I will do it next year instead. The first two weeks are the toughest. After that ther's not enough time in the day. Been walking 6 miles a day trying to undue 31 years at a desk.

Let's organize into some kind of small business UNION and act collectively to shut down the economy if they oppress us.
If we really create most of the jobs and contribute most of the economic growth in the USA then we have power. Screw with us and America enters the Obama depression.
I know that the layoffs we need to make will center on our “Obama” voters. They voted for the plan, they get to be the first “beneficiaries!” BY the way, these are all young white voters.

Already in the works. It's time to stop and smell the flowers. Quitting a high paying software developing contract. Gonna sit back and watch the show, they spend their days depending on others and have pinned their hopes on the fact that we will continue to do it..well..F*CK THEM.
I will no longer be held hostage by my own desire to produce and succeed.

would also like to know, does anyone here have a comprehensive list of which corporations supported Obama?...
go here:
www.opensecrets.org and in the "Employer" box enter the company in question.
Check the "Order by Amount Donated" button, and the CEO's normally display first.
For example, entering "Microsoft" and checking the order by donated button, yields results of Gates and Ballmer donating heavily D.
Entering "Dell", yields results of heavy R donations.
I plan on making purchases accordingly.

“But on that point, I would discourage anyone from enlisting. Obama will get them killed due to lack of equipment and overextension.”
Won’t have to enlist. The unholy trinity of Odumbo, Drum Face and Weasel Reid will be re-instating the draft. Mark my words.
I have a 16 year old daughter. Now I have to worry about her getting drafted by the new marxist regime in 2 years.

"You have probably heard of "green" mutual funds? Well how about a "red" mutual fund that only invests in red states?" I think that is a great idea and would likely be an excellent investment.
As to the other suggestions. I understand and can even agree. But I had a business failure in 1996 that I still haven't recovered from. I am struggling at present (I'm a programmer and ended my last contract right when Ike came through and the credit crunch hit). I'm looking at moving my in-laws in as they are getting too old to live alone. More economic stress I do not need.
All I can do is put my head down and grind it out. Yeesh.

One thing that I keep thinking of is, where to these libs work, that is, what *kind* of jobs do they have? I doubt many people who work at restaurants, at the mall, the bookstore, etc. (at least in my area) are Repubs, that is, people who earn low wages. In fact I highly doubt it. So, my train of thought going forward will be, "for , what alternative can I come up with to spending money there and supporting their income?" In some cases the answer will simply be, "do without", but at any rate I see myself coming up with imaginative ways to avoid supporting the paychecks of people who want me to pay for their $500 Obama checks. I have no doubt that I can take it out of my spending.

“...Biden has floated the idea of imposing a 50% tax on any money taken out of the country, and they're already trying to find out who has offshore accounts (according to a friend of mine with contacts in the banking industry). “
One had better move fast. This is what countries do when they restrict the flow of currencies during an economic crisis. Currency collapses are ugly and if you can't get your dollars out, you become penniless as the currency becomes worthless.

Dont hold your breath. Businessmen are realists, not revolutionaries. Buffet and Gates both came out for Obama and theyre just the spokesmen. Ayn Rand had an idealistic vision of what capitalists were but in the end they wont upset the apple cart. Sorry to burst your illusion.I have no illusions here. Gates has money because people buy his operating system. Buffett has money because people buy products from the companies he owns in his holding company, Berkshire Hathaway. You don't think they cannot be hurt?
I've been in investments for over 20 years managing people's money. I know what happened to all of those "green funds" that attracted money to ease guilt, but were horrible performers to the investors in them. I'm not talking about doing that. I'm talking about taking capital away from leftists, and giving it to corporations, and states who share our principles of free markets and low taxation. Free market caitalists would tend to be better companies to invest in anyway, from a return standpoint.
I'm also talking about a revolution where we publically announce our intentions, and make it clear to those who suffer from our decisions exactly why we are doing what we are doing.
Call it a capitalistic slap up-side the head.

Have not read the book yet but have it. I think I will start reading it tomorrow. I agree it is time to explain to people in these terms so they can see what the cause is. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the next several years and watching on the Obama supporters wonder what happened.
