I don’t attend church. I don’t claim to be a religious person but I am going to pray before going to bed and ask God to forgive me.

I have thought about this as well and the only answer that I can come up with is that God wants to show us that he will sustain us even through the most difficult times.
I truly expect this to cause a revival among the faithful. We should all pray for our country and that God limits the damage that this administration does.
there may be a case to be made that God is mad as hell with the direction the nation has been going. And, if that is the case, maybe we as a nation have some work to do.
