The district includes Boise and Ada county, which are the most populous areas of the state. Just like in every other city in the mountain west the rats are multiplying.
What really happened though is Sali was smeared repeatedly by the local media, constantly for several months. Even reliable conservatives I know here voted against him, believed the lies.

I like Sali, but he does seem to have an air of arrogance about him. Nonetheless I’m shocked that he lost here in Idaho, guess conservatives took the seat for granted. I know I did.
