Obama may have eligibility issues. He held citizenship in Indonesia, and it needed to be formally renounced by a specific date. They’re legal technicalities but could have some bite. It’s unknown still and a long shot, but it still needs to be disclosed. The guy can’t get a security clearance and he’s going to be POTUS?

The unknowns for the guy are enormous, and he is quite scary in the position.

That is indeed a legal technicality, just as McCain’s birth in Panama would be. I doubt many people would get worked up about either issue. I have never heard of the Indonesia citizenship thing before, but if it’s true, it does seem remotely plausible as a disqualifier. I can see other aspects of Obama that many people would find upsetting, but I can’t think of any that would preclude him from taking office based on any constitutional grounds. I think if the Indonesian citizenship thing is what you’re going on here, you should make that clear somewhere prominent on your website. People like to know what it is they are specifically signing onto when they join an organization.

You better tighten your tinfoil cap, because on the morning of November 6, 2008, Barack Obama will begin receiving the same national security briefings that President Bush hears. That sounds like he HAS all of the security clearance he needs.
