Sorry, piling on. I just find that whole notion retarded.

Yeah, I don’t understand this. We have both visual evidence from the precincts and also the numbers in our red precincts to suggest that the Republicans turned out in huge numbers . . . but didn’t all vote McCain.

“Can you imagine uping for the military under “that one?” He doesn’t have any use for them. Brownshirts, maybe - but an actual military?”

No, I can’t. I think Obama as CIC could very well harm our recruitment numbers and also hurt re-enlistment numbers. I also think I just made an “understatement”.

It might’ve worked out better if the GOP had put up a better candidate. Just a thought.

You can leave the better out, what the GOP did was let the northeastern rino's select a candidate a dog wouldn't vote for.

I believe Rush said that the data showed 20% of “conservatives” voting for Hussein. I find that to be rather dubious.

Here in Indy, a lot of people supported our (R) gov, but voted for the Marxist. Why? Change. These are people that get their news from the likes of pMSNBC, CNN and the like. THey drank Kool-Aid and were hooked.

I am going to take GREAT PLEASURE in reminding them, when 0bama Hussein raises their taxes because they're rich (because they have any job). I'm going to rub their noses in every little mistake, misstep that the Emperor makes. I'm going to learn from the democrat playbook. I'm going to get in their faces about it. And when they say I'm being mean or whatever, I'm going to tell them I learned it from them.

It wasn’t turnout on the GOP side.

It was the massive losses in Latino vote (and Asians), and a majority of Catholics voting Obama.

Turnout was maximized on the right. It’s just hard to win when non-base voters (the “middle”) go to the opponent in such overwhelming numbers.

They were too stupid to figure out...

Exactly how were they supposed to find out? The Media sure as hell weren't going to tell them, and those twin towers of sissitude Bush and McCain didn't either.

Eventually “The One” will do something the MSM doesn’t like. I will take great delight in watching Obama fight it out with his minions in the MSM.

As a candidate, he got to give everybody the impression they would get what they wanted.

As an executive, he will have to figure out how to convince people to accept getting less than they wanted, because he doesn't have the resources to please everybody.

Alas, the lying Mediascum was quite adept at ensuring that a large majority of Americans believe that everything that they don’t like in the world is the fault of evil BushCo.

I’ll bet that only a small % of the public has any idea how great the Demagogue involvement has been with the insane sub-prime policies, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, etc.

Most people are not political junkies — they just get a few snippets here and there and the Mediascum make sure that a highly biased spew of “news” is all that most people see or hear.

if your not on FR, listening to Limbaugh, or reading Ann Colter etc then you will never learn.

If your use the MSM for your source of news then you might as well be a democrat.

The college kids came out in record numbers. Evidence of this is in Franklin Cty., Ohio, where Columbus is situated. This is also the county that houses Ohio State. The reason so many of these key counties (including Summit County as well) went to Obama can be attributed directly to this.

I'll tell you, if I had a college kid who backed Obama I would sit him/her down and have a little talk about getting job to help pay their tuition since the money I had put away was going to have to go to pay taxes. Seriously, I would.

“The undecideds just didn’t vote.”

And the PUMAs were full of “s**t”. They HAD NO INTENTION OF BACKING MCCAIN/PALIN. They want a Supreme Court Judgeship for Hilly and an Abassadorship for Bubba. America and her security mean nothing to them. All they are interested in preserving is their right to kill unborn children.

I respect that analysis. And I really believe even some so called conservatives (business owners etc.) may have voted for the anointed one thinking he was an honest broker and would reduce their tax rates. The so called threshold of 250K, that then seemed to drop to 150K, then I believe 100K. I believe the scuttlebutt is now somewhere around 42K.
The nation will not admit soon that it has been had, because literally millions of ill informed and so many literal idiots wouldn't know the difference anyway.

No, conservatives had no reason to vote. The undecided’s broke for Obama.

I had a hair appointment today. The owner and his wife are both conservatives. Altho she is not political he and I always talk politics when I’m there. Neither of them voted yesterday. His young assistant is also a conservative. She said her Mother is deep into politics, knew all the dark sides of Obama and was totally against him —— but neither of them voted either!!! AAMOF, the girl asked me just what ‘socialism’ means!!!

Our country is in trouble

I’ve been saying that since he won the primaries... yet far too many here believed that his Dole-like campaign, based on the premise that “I’m not my opponent” was some sort of *brilliant* strategy.

Brilliant, my @$$.

alas, there's a goodly number of FINOs (FReepers in name only) who consistently do the same.
