I think the 18-21-year-old college age kids did it for Barry. But just wait, in a couple of years when they are paying higher taxes and then lose their job and are living in their parent’s basement maybe they will re-evaluate their vote in 2012. Hey, I was young and dumb once. But I got over it real quick when I got into the real world.
There will just be another bunch of ne’er-had-worked college kids to take their place. See the cycle? the right has to pen the message that waiting for the gumment aint the way.
Then they join the DU and complain how unfair Republicans are.
The polls said it was the 18-29 year olds voting for obama but the college students made up a majority of that. That was also evident by all the reported campus parties last evening. I don’t believe anything the way I did when I was in college. I was dumb and naive about politics back then but thought I knew it all. I am proud that my 3 grown kids voted for McCain because they looked at the issues and what was better for our economy, security instead of a 500$ check to buy their vote.
