“... he already shot the ‘change’ theme to hell.”

And John Podesta is running the transition team. Sounds like Obama is calling on a bunch of Clinton administration retreads. There are already outcries from the lunatic left about the chief-of-staff choice.

I heard Don and Roma on WLS in Chicago talking about him this morning. He sounds like a real piece of work. Foul, ill tempered, holds grudges, deals with his enemies like a psychopath.

I can’t find that picture of the bear up in a tree due to a big yellow tabby cat. We should send it to ballet boy with his veiled threats and tell him that Chicago Bears who don’t dance nice and play well with others wind up chased up a tree.

I don’t understand this. He could have had Obama’s Senate seat in a cake walk. Why would he want to take a 24/7 staff job like that instead?

If we had a conservative version of Rahm Emanuel, we’d be in much better shape right now.

Intersting input.

I’d have to assert, however, that God is the Giver and Taker. Something given by Him cannot be taken away(Shall not be moved).

I’m still not clear as to what we’ve actually lost in this election. Oh, yes, I know the ramifications of BHO, but we didn’t have a horse in the race, IMO. Aside from Palin, there wasn’t even the slightest wiff of conservativism running in the tanks.

Keep the chin up, though. And keep praying(now is a good time to start for those out of practice). Lot’s of hard sloggin’ ahead and battlin’ with the beast will have to be put into the hands of the Almighty. His hands are so much more capable than ours, yes? We would struggle in vein without Him.

Eagles Up all!

“When it comes to federal elections law, Tom DeLay and his special-interest friends live by one set of rules, and EVERYONE ELSE lives by a very different set.” ~ Rahm Emanuel

Here’s everything a Conservative needs to know about Rahm Emanuel. Read only on an empty stomach:

Wonderful, now we have two Muslims in top positions.

If you include Rahm Emanuel as one of the two, he’s got a good cover.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rahm_Emanuel

Emanuel was a civilian volunteer in the Israel Defense Forces during
the 1991 Persian Gulf War, serving in one of Israel’s northern bases,
rust-proofing brakes.[13][14]

Emanuel’s wife, Amy Rule, a graduate of the Wharton School of the
University of Pennsylvania, converted to Modern Orthodox Judaism shortly
before her wedding.[13] They are members of Anshe Sholom B’nai Israel,
a modern Orthodox congregation in Chicago.[7] They have three children,
son Zacharias and daughters Ilana and Leah.

Rabbi Asher Lopatin of Anshe Sholom B’nai Israel Congregation
is quoted as saying: “It’s a very involved Jewish family”;
“Amy was one of the teachers for a class for children during the
High Holidays two years ago.”[7] Emanuel has said of his Judaism:
“I am proud of my heritage and treasure the values it has taught me.”[7]

All along I’ve read that he was a convert to Islam. I do hope I’m wrong. Thanks for the reply.

Let’s hope he can influence Obama FOR Israel and not be a self hating Jew who hates Israel.

And in return, I thank you for the kind reply.

The only reason I had even a modest clue about Rep. Emanuel's
religional/ethnic identification was I read something about
him back when he was elected to The House of Representatives.

Although I thought the surname "Emanuel" probably meant he wasn't
Muslim/Islamic, I did check on him when he got elected.

Sounds like he's a pretty Jewish guy, with a wife who converted to
the faith. And is fairly observant.

But, it looks like he's followed the political worldview of
a number of the Israelis...fairly Socialistic.

Sounds like he's a stinker to deal with if you don't bend over
for his hardball approach to politics.

But I do respect him for doing a turn as a civilian volunteer
for Israeli defense.

I'm not Jewish, but did consider doing that once myself.
Except for the fact it would give many relatives heart attacks.
(They aren't anti-Jewish...they're just cautious folks that figure
time in Israel would be VERY dangerous. And sometimes they're right!)

I have a deep and abiding love for the Jewish people and Israel. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem every time I can think of it. I will continue to pray for our president He will or not in this case, I don’t know. A socialistic Jew doesn’t thrill me too much, though.
