“I believe there were Democrat operativs high in the McCain campaign staff.”

McCain was the Democrat highest on the staff. His dexter member seems, however, to have been only slightly aware of what his sinister manipulator was doing.

I guess this is the place to say it, then: every morning I do cardio at a senior citzens’ wellness room that has a good mix of black, white, male, female, all friendly people, talking and laughing, with the TV on, usually tuned to the Early Show.

Wednesday, Nov. 5: silence. Nobody talking or greeting each other. And for the first time since I can remember, the TV was off. Somber. And strange.

I believe there were ROMNEY operatives high in the McCain campaign staff.
There fixed it.

I am not convinced that this “crisis” was not manufactured

Funny, I've been convinced since day one that this so-called "crisis" was nothing but manufactured.

Does this make me some kind of “consipracy nut”? Does anyone else share my suspicions?

If it does, there are a lot of us out here.
Yes, many others share your suspicions.

Is this kind of manipulation even possible?

Yes indeed! Google "George Soros+financial market collapse" or something to that effect.
Soros Bio
In 1992, Quantum made $2 billion on a successful bet that the Bank of England would be forced to devalue the pound, a move widely considered to be a major factor in the downfall of Prime Minister John Major's goverment. In 1998 Malaysia's president accused Soros of precipitating that country's financial crisis.

IIRC, Soros cannot enter more than one country because of his market manipulations of their economies. Can't find it right now though.

How many Bobdoles ăre we going to push to the top in the Republican Party? is there an unending supply of them? We have had thrê recently, GBI Bob Dole himself, and now McCain.Ford probably fit that mold, also but he was actually smarter than the others.

In all honesty, I’m not sure what I mean. I do know that Wall Street donated to Obama nearly 3-1, FNMA the same, and that the timing of the “crisis” put the campoaign and the country on hold..while a trillion dollars to Wall Street was tranfered from the US taxpayer. Had this occured any at any other time, more thought and deliberation might have been possible.

As it was, this queered the election and was predictably blamed on Bush while evey other issue in a typical campaign went down the drain.

Guess what- John McCain is now history. Another Bob Dole. (whew)

The stupidity of the Republican Party amazes me.

Neither Dole nor McCain had a showball's chance.

You can't beat something with nothing.

And they both were TOO OLD!

Let’s just hope Romney has his maccaca moment and soon, so he and his disloyal weasels will go away.

Doesn’t have to be “conspiracy. Democrats Paulson and Schumer were quite capable of seeing the possibilities and acting all on their own. When we do NOT have a conservative in the presie=dency we get these financial Fu Manchus with their hands on the economic levers and dials that should not exist in the first place because those controls only do different sorts of harm to the actual economy no matter how deftly the wheels are spun. Thee sole purpose is power to the centralists and collectivists.

That’s a great analogy. Two old soldiers who no longer had any fight left in them — to the detriment of us all.

Imagine Sarah Palin teamed with a younger vigorous man with the true will and energy to win, the spunk to name names like Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and Schumer, the ability to refuse to be put on defense by scum bags in the media and the democrat party, and the courage and grace to give President Bush CREDIT where he deserved it. And the wisdom to FIRE disloyal tainted “anonymous source leakers” from his campaign team.

John McCain spent his whole career running against the Republican oparty- and it showed. He was simply unable to effectively run FOR his party when it nominated him.

And he was past his shelf life ...his ego got in the way of accepting that.

It is not lost on me that shortly after W was sowrn into office Wall Street was attacked by international terrorists and shortly before he leaves office Wall Street is hit again, perhaps this time by international financial criminals

Perhaps we should be searching the countryside for Soros as well as Osama Bin Laden.

The problem is with Obama and the far-left in control, there will ne no blue ribbon commission on 9-15 as there was after 9-11. By the time the new cabinet is in place the 9-15 crisis will be old news and we will be told to “move-on”. The MSM will not touch this and anyone who suggests that something is amiss, will be lumped with those who thought 9-11 was a “set up job”

You know, I can’t argue with that. As ludicrous as it sounds, you’re essentially correct. The reason McCain didn’t win in my opinion is that he didn’t fight for it, though he put on a good show with his rallies and so forth.

He should’ve attacked with all the ammo he had on Ubama and should’ve used all the resources he had available. Because of his reticence, he didn’t close the deal, and I wonder why.

Okay, let’s stop bashing McCain for what he and his handlers didn’t do.

McCain tries to much to be “above the fray” and to be the “bi-partisan” in the Senate. He had to learn to accommodate people when he was a prisoner in Viet Nam. That’s what formed him. Nothing can change that.

McCain was NOT the man to be President this time. He MIGHT have been President in 2000 but Bush undermined him then and didn’t help him during this election process.

There were a LOT of things McCain “COULD” have done had he had the fire in the belly. He didn’t have it. He didn’t have the depth to push against the Media with the truth about Obama. He couldn’t do it because he would be going against his instincts to be Bi-Partisan.

There’s enough “blame” to go around and every where you look there’s some element who bears some responsibility for McCain’s loss. BUT the major reason McCain lost is because McCain is Who He Is and he cannot be anyone else.

So, okay . . . Enough with the blame. Let’s get back on target and get focused and figure out what we can do to make Obama’s Presidency an “open book” about Obama.

We have his promises and we know he’s not going to be able to keep too many of them. Those that go against the fabric of the Constitution, we can attack with letters to the editors, our Congresscritters, “marches on Washington,” and what have you. Those that he fails to live up to . . . same agenda for us . . . “you promised to pay my mortgage and car payment and get me free health care, and I want it NOW or I don’t like you and you only made those promises to get elected, so you lied to get elected . . . ad nauseum ad vomitum.” The lemmings will turn against “the One” and Oprah will have to pay for our mortgages, cars, and health care, after all, she’s his number one priestess.

Oprah probably won’t offer to contribute her money to the masses. I made that part up.

I'm surprised that so many pundits on the right are now praising this historic election and saying that Obama won't be able to veer to the left as his more extreme constituents expect him to.

There is not much preventing Obama from veering to the left if he so chooses. He has the Senate and the House, and this "mandate" for "change". Powerful Dems are saying that the climate of absolute power has never been greater and are rushing to pen legislation, even as Obama and his team promise to reach across the aisle and unite everyone.

As I've said before, it might be possible to unite everyone behind the USA or even a President, but it is not possible to unite everyone on their core issues. The differences are just too great...on abortion, guns, socialism, healthcare, foreign policy...we will remain polarized.

Unity and bipartisanship to a Democrat means that all of us abandon our core beliefs and move to their side. If we don't, we must be ignorant, intolerant or racist. It will be our fault if unity and harmony are not achieved. Why are we resisting change, they will ask? Why can't we just move forward? Don't we want to make America a better, brighter place full of unicorns and government checks?

No, not really.
