Yesterday I went to the barbershop and waited with two elderly dudes. Both shook their heads over the Øbama victory stating they voted for McCain without any prompting from me. The oldest one said the black vote won him the election... obviously not realizing that blacks are only 12% of the population. The younger looking one said “Øbama's done for...”. When I asked him what he meant, he said
“There's a lot of crazy white people out there.”I thought to myself... “Yeah, and they all voted for him!”
I went to the barber too, he made the comment that none of his costumers talked about the election. Oh well, life does go on.
