“Tell me — who are the two presidents since LBJ who have most radically expanded government?”

If you are referring to President Bush, I would remind you that the expansion of the Armed Forces and the revamping of government to form Homeland Security is where almost all of the expanded government, and the associated costs, are located. Was that necessary or not?

The Democrats have been using Homeland Security as a govenment-funded jobs program. It only marginally contributes to increasing our security & it costs a ton. Every time I see a TSA worker at the airport I think I'm looking at a person that is otherwise unemployable.

Real security is the kind that you don't see. And the Democrats HATE that kind of security. It's their default position.
