it did thanks for that
I thought I heard Rush say differently and that MT had gone more republicans

maybe I ma getting too old

I had a question a couple of posts ago and you seem to be switched on to this

I’ll ask again if you didn’t see it

could the GOP ask to see the votes in OH to see how many were illegal?
is NC finished counting all the military votes from the marines as it is really close there right now

I know we won’t get the election but it reduces obama’s lead and takes bragging rights away form the liberals

Sleep well knowing you did the right thing. McCain was the last guy I wanted to see as our nominee but he was a h*ll of a lot better than that marxist Obama.

I don’t think anyone is saying it makes a difference in the winner of this election. It makes a difference in planning the strategy for next time. The actual numbers are important, and the breakdown is important in order to know why states went the way they did.

We had many Hillary supporters helping us out. I read an article where they were the ones manning a lot of the McCain /Palin HQ desks. PUMAS did their best, too, but it wasn’t enough paired with us to overcome Barry’s lead.

Can’t find the North Carolina website. Anyone have it?

Virginia Secretary of State website updated Nov. 6 at 7:13 pm but still unofficial:

Hussein - 1,904,245
McCain - 1,697,594

I agree. I want every legitimate vote to be counted. I want the truth. I want an audit in Florida and Ohio.

There was so much noise in the media prior to the Election about fraud and now nothing. No one is talking about it.

FEC is conducting an audit of Obama’s donations they started a month before the election.

I want to know we had a free and fair Election. We don’t know this yet.

I believe you may request a recount, and my husband believes that the media paid for recounts in 2000. We’re guessing that a lawsuit would have to be filed. In other words, we do not know.

The States that had open primaries need to go to closed primaries. Would McCain have won if this were the case do you think?

What a crude idea.

Do we use gloves?

I know a couple of Barr voters who blame Bush for everything but the lack of rain.

YES - I do remember that now, too!!! We did sit together at the dinner!!

It’s so funny because my youngest son of 3, (who is now 17) just the other day - on the 10 year anniversary of the March for Justice - commented about how he can remember the lady who brought the candy for us since we couldn’t go out for Halloween. Even after ten years, they still remember that!!!

If you don’t mind my asking - whereabouts are you in Indiana? I’m in southern IN, right across the Ohio River from Louisville.

Thanks for “saying hello”!!

I’m with you on this.
Some of these states can switch to McCain if and when ALL votes are counted.

Does anyone know what to do or who to ask about counting all absentee votes in these states?

I’m at a loss because it doesn’t seem that anyone else cares about the final vote count. And that includes Rush, Hannity, etc........
And obviously some Freepers as well.

I care. If these states can flip with the final tally, then something like a law suit in the state of Ohio should be filed.

(Yes, I know McCain is a wimp and will not fight for this)
But d*amnit!!! We are in charge of the country, we the people. We should fight...At least we should fight to have the overseas and out of state military votes counted.

We owe them that at least.

Why isn't McCain willing to fight for the votes that he got? He was in such a hurry to concede, now his people are blaming Palin, but they will not oversee a fair count. You can bet that Obama has and had his lawyers ready for the battle. I have never understood McCain, but he got my vote as the lesser of two evils.

you’ve been really helpful thank you
I hope Mcain does do a suit to count OH and see how many illegal votes took place plus I would like to NC count all their military votes from overseas for two reasons

one
they are our military and if anyone has thr right to have their vote count it is they on duty
2
it is really close there and it could be another state to turn red thus taking bragging rights away form looney liberals

Totally agree!!!!
Why are more Freepers not upset about this. I know we are in shock, but it has to wear off sometime.

THIS SHOULD MATTER!!!!!

There was fraud in this election. We all know that. But, it might have been the fraud that tipped the balance of power over to the “false messiah”.

Screw McCain and his conceding. I did not, and my country matters to me.

All the legal votes should be counted ;it makes a great deal of difference in perceptions if another 44 electoral votes went to McCain. The smaller the margin of victory the fewer will see it as a mandate for drastic change.

That's so sweet that your son remembers me - and he's 17!!! Holy cow I'm getting old!

Actually, I've been living in PA since 1994, almost as long as you've been in IN. But I'm from NW corner of IN originally - the infamous Lake County of Rudy Clay fame, to my utter humiliation. Even worse, my dad (rest his soul) was a local Dem politico and all my extended family are big Dems. I had a big fight with my mom the Sunday before the election, which upsets me greatly, but there it is.

Anyway, I've been trying to find some of my pics from all those old events. I have them on floppy disks, but for some reason my computer's floppy drive is not working.

There was someone here recently who posted a vanity about his 10th FR anniversary so I included some pics from the 2nd Anniversary of the 1st DC Freep. I can't believe it's been 10 years+.
