“Ayers & co. are not powerful enough to subvert the entire media & academia.”

Never heard of “The long march through the institutions,” eh? Gramsci?

You need to read David Horowitz.

“You’re talking a conspiracy on the scale of the Illuminati.”

You can’t make a fact disappear by deriding it as a “conspiracy.” It is a movement; a large number of leftist swine, with Satan behind the curtain, acting as they think they ought.

“Taking advantage of the natural flow of culture is not subversive large-scale manipulation thereof.”

Movement to the left is *never* the natural flow of culture, as it is inimical to human nature. Movement to the left is *always* the result of “subversive...manipulation,” either by a murderous minority or a large number of leftist crusaders.

“Media & academia tend to attract people of a certain general political persuasion.”

That’s not a fact of nature. It’s an artifact of the implementation of the long march through the institutions, combined with the freezing out of non-leftists.

“Get over the Obama Derangement Syndrome.”

It is so wrong-headed to try and turn around the legitimate complaint on Bush Derangement Syndrome that I am forced to wonder what your agenda is.

Clinton really was a scumbag. Obama really is a scumbag. It is not possible to criticize either strongly enough, and there is no degree of this legitimate criticism that can fairly or accurately be labeled a “derangement syndrome.”
