That's a Hitchhiker's Guide reference right there. Obscure, but damned funny if you recall Vogon poetry.

why doesn’t a dimbulb like Angelou remind those Europeans how damned fortunate they are that thanks to the US they can make their snarky comments in English and/or French instead of German.

Wow, that says a lot on how bad her poetry is LOL.
I never could understand how someone could be ashamed to be an American. There is more opportunity here than any place else in the world. Some people risk death to come here and she’s complaining. My parents came here several decades ago (to get away from Europe)and have never looked back.

Could Ms. Angelou please tell me which leaders in France or Great Britain were black?
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Well, fine, but will she ever apologize for her poetry?
To: johnnycap
Yeah, ok...and France and Britain have had several black Prime Ministers and Presidents already The UK has had Welsh PMs. Pretty much the same thing

Well, if all it takes is for me to pay another 30% of my income in Federal taxes so Doctor Maya Angelou feels more comfortable with her European friends, it's a small price to pay! How does that work out? I haven't heard the tax increases would be that extreme.
To: Doe Eyes
And since when has a Democrat ever told the truth about tax increases before an election?
Do the math, FRiend. He’s gotta pay for all them goodies somehow!
