During his first press conference a reporter asked a question about what Presidents he would consult. Obama's answer was to the effect of the living ones, not like Nancy Reagan seances or words to that effect...

It was awkward ugly and stupid, and he did it to recover because he stupidly began by saying he consulted all the “living” ex presidents. He should have just moved on or said “obviously” instead he made fun of Nancy Reagan holding seances.
She did nothing to deserve that it was his dopiness he was covering for. It was not a good start.
Still have not heard his plan for the economy. I thought that was the reason for the speech.

somewhat paraphrased but you can bet there will be sound clips on Hannity.
He got asked if he has been in touch with former living presidents, and he said something to the effect of “I havent been doing any Nancy Reagan Seiances (sp.) but I have been in touch with...”
He was trying to be funny. He wasn’t, but his intention IMHO was not to mock Nancy Reagan.
Wasn’t Hillary trying to channel Eleanor Roosevelt or something?
You know what? The whole seance thing with Nancy Reagan really creeped me out back when I found out about it. I think Obama’s comment was funny, acutally. You’d have to have a pretty thin skin to be offended by THAT, we there is OH SO MUCH to find offense with . . .
I heard that Nancy Reagan voted for him because she believes that he’ll support embryonic stem cell research.
