Isn’t it amazing that McCain immediately went after the NC Republican party when they aired the Wright ad? Yet, here we are...people who work for him are publicly attacking (and there is no doubt that the accusations are over the top) Sarah Palin, HIS pick for VP...and there is silence.
I regret I supported him with money and I sent him a note to tell him so.

She was still far better than either of her campaign’s opponents. Maybe you should be quizzing Joe Biden on why he thinks FDR was POTUSA in 1929 and how on earth FDR addressed a national TV audience that did not exist at that time. Or maybe you should be discussing why Obambi it totally unfit for the Presidency because he thinks we have 57, 58, 60, or however many states he imagined...... oh, but you don’t think Biden and Obama showed themselves to be total incompetents on the campaign trail?
You are making an inference that Palin froze on that question because she’s never read a serious magazine. You assume she’s never even heard of TIME, Newsweak, US News & World Report, etc. so she couldn’t say anything. [not that those are such serious magazines, really, but they might be the kinds of news-oriented rags that a candidate could mention]
Let me offer another, far more plausible hypothesis: she reads plenty of magazines but knew that whatever she named to a hostile Mediascum would become a point of discussion for the rest of the campaign. She “froze” b/c she was trying to decide what to mention that would not become a subject of vicious Mediascum inquiry for the rest of the campaign. She knew that any publication she mentioned would become the subject of endless discussion and analysis, and she knew that Mediascum would be poring over the last zillion years of the publication(s) to find any articles that would be useful to quiz her about, attack her about, etc.

Palin spanked Biden while McCain couldn't even handle Hussein.

The fact campaign was SCARED to death to allow her near microphones by herself, and the information they are leaking out now, and the fact they they requested CHANGE of debate format from LONG 5 minutes answers like Obama and McCain, to 2 minute answers with 30 second rebuttals, are ALL CLEAR INDICATIONS that they knew if she is forced to speak a SINGLE sentence that she has not memmorized, it could end the game then and there.
There reaction and fear says those were not gaffes, or simply freezing.....she really is a Jaywalker - guys Leno catches on the streets.
Proof my butt. McCain only sat in with her because he was insecure of being upstaged. He wanted a “maverick”, he got one.
He wanted someone who could present dissenting viewpoints, he got it.
He wanted someone from outside the beltway, he got it.
He wanted to dress his “little doll”, he got it.
He wanted someone who “shake up” his campaign, he got it.
Gov. Plain gave him the election on a silver platter, and he
tossed it.
Notice that when he finally left her off of her leash, he zoomed.
The man got what he wished for, and he screwed the pooch, not Gov. Palin.
You only got bitterness, not proof, and worse, it’s a “copy and paste” from the MSM and lefties bitterness that your projecting.
We lost to a billion dollar budget being handled by haters of Democracy and Conservatism, with years and years of preparation for this moment.

I am not jealous of Sarah’s clothes at all. I wish she would buy more hot clothes.....and walk around in towel for all I care. Why do Steve Schmidt is the only one who gets to enjoy that view? She would make a great variety show host. That’s where she belongs. Leave this “Mavericky” (her word) stuff to some other not so hot women.
