Nice guilt by association you have going there. By the way, are you aware that GOPAC was originally Gingrich’s organization?

A rather amusing content-free news story. As it happens I remember this particular health care bill. It was to promote interchangeability of patient medical and insurance records, so that when a patient is treated by a new practitioner they would have access to complete and accurate medical records so as to avoid killing the patient. How despicable. It had nothing to do with financing health care.

Steele was a co-founder of that RINO plot to take the Republican Party away from conservatives. That’s not guilt by association, that’s just plain guilt.

As for GOPAC, Steele took over in June, 2008. I’m also aware that Ron Reagan used to have the Presidency and conservatives won Congress for the Republicans and the majority of states had Republican governors. Then Christie Todd Whitman and Michael Steele were successful with their RINO plans.

They agreed on a non ideological policy of general benefit. In a congress with nearly equal partisan balance that is the only way non-controversial procedures get passed.

Why use legislation to make change? Isn’t there a free market opportunity? A service that would make your records available quickly in an emergency - that sounds like a novel approach.

BTW in non emergency situations, all you have to do is to send your doctor a written request for your medical records. If you don’t want them to be sent directly to another doctor, you can have them sent to you.

What plot was that?

Aligning with Whitman and her AntiLife club is just another illustration of why Michael Steele is Neocon RINO social liberal who should not run the RNC.

Obviously true. While I was not commenting on the desirability of the legislation so much as I was pointing out that support of it was not evidence that Gingrich was a RINO, I will respond briefly. IMHO the legislation was designed to encourage information interchangeability because the lack of same is one of the leading causes of death in the US and is a major economic burden on the US health care system. Faxing documents and then reentering the data on keyboards is obviously more prone to error then directly transferring the data. Errors in diagnosis and medication are frequent causes of death. The expenses of maintaining a staff to handle this sort of thing is a nonproductive use of medical resources. To return to your original point there are numerous medical emergencies where the patient is dead before his medical data can be obtained.

I never said that he was a RINO as seen in these posts.
