1. There is no need for the “Fairness Doctrine”
2. It is not likely to be pushed hard, despite comments to the contrary by Schumer and Bingaman.
In fact, here is a direct quote from the article:
“I think Rush and the boys have it right on this one: The free market offers plenty of room for liberals to have their say, even in an era when the vast multitude of radio stations are owned by a few conglomerates.”
Notice the caveat? And no mention of cable tv, satellite radio, internet , etc?
I think its going to be pushed , regardless of Lefty's opinion..
