Another list of tips. There are a few that I disagree with such as the tips for dealing with credit cards ( I suggest using a pair of scissors). And a $4 latte is not a "must have" when you can make your own faster and cheaper than at Starbucks.

Heat with wood. I can heat my house for the winter for about $500 with 5 cords of wood and about half a tank of oil. Wood can be as cheap as free if you work at it throughout the year. This year 5 cords cost me about $200 and about 2 solid weeks of manual labor.
