"Notice anything missing?"

Sure. Capitalists.

Mega-corp CEO's and Business Academics are typically Socialists just like they're counterparts in the Dem. party. The lack of entrepreneurs (Capitalists) on Obama's business advisory team shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

All they need to do is to look at California and do the opposite. Don’t pile on a ton of environmental and global warming regulations; Don’t disband most of your state’s economic development department and rely on it to be funded with contributions; Don’t pass costs onto the Counties where they will be forced to raise permit fees; Don’t allow a runaway workers comp. system; Don’t impose social programs like minimum health insurance on business; Don’t impose a sales tax hike; Don’t invite a large illegal immigrant labor force that consumes more benefits than it pays in taxes; Don’t create special requirements for air quality that result in the most expensive fuel costs in the country; Don’t avoid tort reform so that everyone will continue to sue everyone else at the drop of a hat; Don’t undermine the value of privately owned property and the rights inherent in property ownership.

Cuban is a quirk, but a smart one.

Hate his politics, but he is a business and marketing genius.

Yes, and it's amazing to me that a guy who thinks as Cuban does about business could vote for a politician who will govern as Obama will. Let's hope that the temporary insanity that led such voters to support the Obama is cured by some cold, hard political reality.

Despite talk about "realignments" and "generational shifts," it seems that the O-man simply rode a wave of discontent into the White House. That wave was much more powerful than anyone thought. Once that wave passes and the guy actually has to govern, he's gonna have a much rougher time.

Come Jan 20, the democrats' biggest advantage and the biggest drag on republican fortunes will vanish--i.e., G. W. Bush will leave the stage (BTW, it grieves me to say that). Without "demon" Bush, a lot of the wind goes out of Obama's sails. Obama will find that governing is a lot different than exploiting people's discontent.

The American people have a lot of entrepreneurial good sense. Obama has shown that he has none. The only thing he knows about is how to take the wealth other people make and give it away to cronies. People will be sentimental about Obama for a while, but it's going to be inescapably evident after a year or two of governing that he's an empty suit.

Welcome to reality, Mr. President-Elect.

Cubes, I love ya, man (even if you don’t love my Lakers) and you’re a smart businessman and all...but what party do you think you’re talking about? Your man there sees entrepreneurs as the guys who are supposed to shut up and write the checks, so he can spread their wealth around to the folks behind them. He said as much. In public. On videotape. You have no right whatsoever to be surprised.

What is with this guy???

“We need to know what the impact of his policies will be on the individually owned Chrysler Dealership in Iowa. The bodega in Manhattan. The mobile phone software startup out of Carnegie Mellon. The event planner in Dallas. The barbershop in L.A. The restaurant in Boston.”

Cuban, you doofus, we already know what Obama plans to do and what the impact will be — he said that he would raise taxes on small business-owners, and he said that it was time to spread the wealth around.

Why are all these useful idiots for Obama coming out now saying they wonder what he will do? He stated many times exactly what he intended to do and we have no reason to suspect he won’t push that agenda.

Duh.

I share that same hope but my concern is that now that the media has worked to get him elected they will seek to ensure his success, too.

What is with this guy???

Good question. This is from his 5 November blog entry [boldface added]:

I voted for President Elect Obama.

The rest of my votes went almost exclusively to Republicans , Libertarians and Independents.

In looking at the Democratic platform, there are a few things I agree with, but on the economic side, other than being ok with him raising my effective tax rate to 40pct, there isn’t a lot of his economic policy that I do agree with him on. So why did I vote for him ?

Its simple. Having an elected black President will do more to energize this country than any economic or social policy ever could. In a single day of voting, our amazing country once again reinvigorated the dream that any child in this country, no matter what circumstances they are born into, can grow up to be anything they want, including President of the United States.

Electing a black president is a fine idea. Just not this black president! We'll see how Mark Cuban feels, as Obama lives up to his red diaper baby roots.

If he did all that then why is he such an idiot when it comes to the economy?

Obama wants to destroy the economy, not fix it.

THAT is the dirty little secret that brought 52 million people to the polls to oppose this Marxist.
The great unwashed masses may swallow the gimme society whole but the genuine leaders in this nation will not lay down and die for a president who wants their entrepreneurial spirit squashed.

Does anyone honestly believe that it is by omission that no one who depends on the free market is on his team? This is one more step in the Obama campaign to deliberately and willfully wreck our economy and subjugate our citizenry.

If the man were black he would have a soul. He is the son of soulless slavers, not the son of soulful slaves.

Re: Oh! Mama's great economic advisers.

“Great minds like Time Warner Inc. Chairman Richard Parsons, the black genius who ran Time Warner for what ?, 8 years, ?... while it steadily, year by year lost a total of what?.... 90% of it's value?

Memo to Mark Cuban: Your opinion sucks.
