All they need to do is to look at California and do the opposite. Don’t pile on a ton of environmental and global warming regulations; Don’t disband most of your state’s economic development department and rely on it to be funded with contributions; Don’t pass costs onto the Counties where they will be forced to raise permit fees; Don’t allow a runaway workers comp. system; Don’t impose social programs like minimum health insurance on business; Don’t impose a sales tax hike; Don’t invite a large illegal immigrant labor force that consumes more benefits than it pays in taxes; Don’t create special requirements for air quality that result in the most expensive fuel costs in the country; Don’t avoid tort reform so that everyone will continue to sue everyone else at the drop of a hat; Don’t undermine the value of privately owned property and the rights inherent in property ownership.

Your man there sees entrepreneurs as the guys who are supposed to shut up and write the checks, so he can spread their wealth around to the folks behind them. He said as much. In public. Cuban, you doofus, we already know what Obama plans to do and what the impact will be — he said that he would raise taxes on small business-owners, and he said that it was time to spread the wealth around.
