Don’t skimp on firearms. A 12 gauge Mossberg 500 pump shotgun can be had for around $200 brand-new. I own 3 pistols which ranged in price from about $325-450 each. It really depends on whether it’s home defense (shotgun), a carry weapon (pistol) or for other things one would want a rifle.

I've been feeling a little "down" since election day, so yesterday I decided that it was time for a little "pick me up". Went to my favorite gun dealer and bought a brand new Kimber Ultra Covert II with Meprologht night sights and Crimson Trace lazer.

I feel much better, now. (grin)
