Salem State College in Salem, MA. Each year they only take in approximately 50 candidates to the program. The admissions administrator who interviewed him said he'd have a job in his field during his junior year. The area up there is rich with hospitals, medical centers and research facilities who use Salem State as a labor pool for good nursing grads. So far he's loving the program. Tough but do'able.

When we toured the campus and town I was amazed at how much there is to do and how historically rich the area is. He says that Halloween is a non-stop freak show for a whole week.

Sounds like quite a program. Thanks for the info.

I had some coworkers go to Providence a couple of years ago on business in late October and they went up to Salem on Halloween night. Judging from the pictures and their comments "freak show" just scratches the surface. ;-)

Best of luck to your son.
