The blogosphere occasionally does a better job in hunting down facts. It's also full of rumor, urban legends, hoaxes and conspiracy theories. You need to be extremely circumspect.
Sites much beloved of Freepers such as World Net Daily, News Max, Debka and other assorted trash are not reliable. Don't give me a sermon about the bias of the MSM. I know. That doesn't mean that your own favorite sources are any better.
Maybe so, but now we have the AIP in Norway!
There is no conspiracy here. Conservatives demand Obama show his original birth documents. He hasn’t done so. So a dozen lawsuits have popped up.
The COLB on KOS and Fight the Smears is questionable, at best.
So we demand originals. Its a $20 item from the registrars in Hawaii. Instead, he pays 10s of 1000s in lawyers fees to keep it from us.
No conspiracy, unless it is on his side of the equation.
All those sites are derivative - that is, they get stuff from other sites or news sources and put their own spin on it. Often the articles are ok, but the headlines are hysterical and distorting. Just like the MSM - except that the articles are not ok in the MSM. In any case, WND, News Max, etc. are secondary sources of secondary sources - but there was something true there to begin with, and that’s what you have to look for.
There is obviously something behind this birth certificate story. I didn’t think so initially, but now that it is clear that Obama and the Dems are circling the wagons, there’s no doubt that they’re hiding something.
I have in this case. It doesn’t look like you have.
