too bad he didn’t let the Lt Gov run, the GOP could have held the seat.

Good riddance. The purge of these crooks and big spenders from the Conservative movement can’t start soon enough.

Now if we can just oust Specter, Snowe, Collins etc.
To: Jean S
It's a shame that the GOP lost the seat, but it's good that Stevens lost the seat and that he is now finished.

Is his opponent a far lefty or a relatively moderate Democrat, sort of like John McCain?

One seat closer to permanent, absolute Marxist rule. Yippee!

I was half hoping he would hold it and perhaps Sarah would get it. but that would take away her credentials as a D.C. outsider. so maybe it is a blessing in that way.

Thank God!!! Finally we see some sense in this disasterous election. I can’t believe a felon was this close to winning anyway.
To: wideawake
whether he won or lost, the GOP would still lose.

We’re already screwed.
The 60 seat majority is too close.
My Senator Jim Inhofe was just on Hannity and Colmes.
He pointed out that there are Republicans “who might as well be Democrats”
Who will put the Dems over that 60 margin half the time anyways.
