TVNewser has an exclusive on the final fate of invisible Fox personality E.D. Hill today. Fox has decided not to renew E.D.'s contract, so she will be finally leaving the Fox News Channel after being off the air since June.
Some may remember the left-media storm targeting E. D. Hill that occurred back on June 6 when she off handedly said that Barack and Michelle's on stage fist bump was a "terrorist fist jab." The Huffington Post and Media Matters raised a storm of protest and soon after, E.D. Hill lost her Fox show.
Well, it seems to have taken some time, but as TVNewser reports Fox has announced they are not going to renew Hill's contract when it expires early in 2009.
SVP of Programming Bill Shine tells TVNewser that he "chose not to renew E.D.'s latest contract" but noted that "Hill has been a valued contributor to the success of FNC over the years, and we wish her all the best."
Hill officially apologized for the remark soon after the incident in June.
You know, at first I never liked E.D. Hill, but over the months she grew on me. So much for “Fair and Balanced” at Foxnews, which is why it explains why I never watch them (except for Greta) anymore.

What make’s me want to puke is that people on the left can get away with any manner of offensive comments about the “right.” I really liked E.D.!
They really need to throw Shep under the bus. He is such drama queen!
She had plenty of viewers on Fox and Friends before they decided to tinker with it.
She asked to get out of Fox and Friends because she hated the two guys and wanted to do “hard news”. It was her choice and she raised a stink till she got her own show which immediately tanked.

Too bad, I like E D. Hill... Fox is kissing Obama’s ass and that is a shame. I don’t like Obama, am against everything he stands for and his wife too! It is a total disgrace that he was elected President of this once great nation.

E D. seems like a nice woman. I wish her well.
Looks like the only semblance of reputable news now is either 700 CBN news or American Center for Law and Justice TV shows . . . Fox News has gone into the tank . . . except for Hannity, the rest are sellouts.

ED can’t carry a show. She’s got some rough edges, and seemed to drift on some issues. She’d be good on a morning show with real hosts, I agree with her Brian and Steve are lacking talent. Steve projects arrogance, and Brian puts way too much effort into trying to be a clown.
Fox is becoming less and less watchable.
