Nowadays, kids think a job is an entitlement. An employer who wants to fire hire them had better think twice since its not worth the risk. Fixed your typo...

Several newsroom employees heard Anato-Mensah shouting, yelling obscenities and threatening Prenevost, saying, "You don't know where I'm from. I'll mess you up, b -." Just where is she from? With that last name I could guess, but you know, I don't want to be called names.... :)

“Anato-Mensah”
As an employer, I tend to throw resumes with hyphenated last names in the garbage.

She was probably in the wrong.
She may have not had the skills necessary.
But her boss may not have been that much of a prize either.
In fact, she may have been deserving of some of the blowback, and blowback from others too timid to act.
If so, no doubt it was worth it to hang around to hear her say, “I’ll mess you up, beeeoooootcchhhh.”

Hey, 30 some-odd days on the job, she probably merits tenure, a pension, and medical insurance.

"As an employer, I tend to throw resumes with hyphenated last names in the garbage." The only exception I'd make to that rule is if you're looking to hire a divorce attorney.
