During the election, Barr hypocritically attacked McCain's choice of Sarah Palin, and said Palin hadn't been "vetted enough" and didn't have enough "foreign policy experience". The irony of course, was that Barr's OWN running mate, Wayne, had been "vetted" for the job only a hour before he was selected and was a career Las Vegas TV producer with absolutely nothing to qualify him to be a heartbeat anyway from the Presidency. Wanye said nothing at the time, and neither blasted Obama's lack of experience either.
Barr later realized how stupid it looked to bash Palin's "inexperience" when his running mate was Root, and tried to throw Root under the bus for Congressman Ron Paul. It backfired, because Paul refused the offer to be Barr's running mate -- and then specifically told his worshipers over at the Ron Paul fan club NOT to vote for Barr. Apparently they didn't listen to their hero, since Barr got half a million votes and Paul's choice for President got only 150,000 votes.
