$700,000 to respond? Even if his lawyers did charge that much to file one response to a suit, why would he then not just produce it? Even someone with his access to money doesn’t spend that much to fight something so easily solved. His response could have just been to show the certificate and end the charges.

Not only that, but why won't they submit the “Birth Certificate” that they released to KOS and factcheck.org in one of the many court cases as a defense? Are they afraid of committing perjury?
